What is that ticking or knocking sound I hear coming from my motor?
We all know Harley’s are a noisy motor but pay attention to the sounds of your bike because a change in sound could mean something bigger is going on. Early twin cam models had spring loaded chain tensioners that went bad, you can hear a lifter ticking and going out on you or you can be hearing a knocking type noise that can mean much bigger issues. If something doesn’t sound right please feel free to stop by and have us take a listen to it.
